Job Requirements
Qualifications / Skills Required
1) Bachelors degree in a related field (graduate degree preferred)
2) Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing management (Food preferred)
3) Experience in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
4) Ability to lead people and get results through others
5) Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3 6 month time span, as well as, a 3 5 year time span
6) Ability to measure performance to company goals and standards and establish targets for improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee relations
7) Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
8) Skills and knowledge to train and develop employees
9) Technical skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling and preventative maintenance
10) Quality orientation and attention to detail
11) Problem analysis and problem resolution
12) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
13) Ability to develop high performance teams and be a strong team player
14) Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and ERP software
15) Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
