Job Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field OR equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
-Knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations and other relevant authorities sufficient to interpret and apply to transactions and ensure compliance.
-Experience demonstrating skill minimizing an organizations total lawful tax liability by:
-Conducting tax research;
-Preparing technical memorandum, and
-Creating tax planning opportunities on a proactive basis.
-Experience demonstrating skill coordinating projects (for example, working with teams, tracking issues, monitoring progress, maintaining accountability of tasks, and reporting on the status).
-Experience demonstrating skill interacting with external auditors, taxing authorities, or similar parties.
-Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
-Ability and willingness to work non-standard and extended hours as required and to work under tight deadlines.
-Ability and willingness to travel to various Company locations.
-Must successfully pass a Criminal History Records Check.
