Job Requirements
Must have a college degree.
Ten years experience as a designer.
Must have experience related to floor covering i.e., wallpaper, fabrics, etc.
Management experience a plus.
Must be able to execute saleable designs in the area of tile and sheet goods.
Must understand mechanical separations of designs for vendors to translate to cylinders.
Will participate in marketing/design meetings for the selection of designs for upcoming introductions.
Will assist other designers in the area of design and separations.
Responsible for making, purchasing, and coordinating the departments spectrum of color decorative boards.
Will work closely with the manufactured home designers, design seminars, introduction selections, and color selections.
Participate in market exhibitions for the purpose of R&D.
Must be able to give design presentations.
Must be able to use MAC computer and knowledgeable in software Photoshop & Illustrator.
Must be able to use the AVA CAD CAM system to make colorations.
