Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have the following credentials: Bachelor's Degree in nursing required, Masters in relevant field preferred; Iowa State RN License (or eligible); Certification in Infection Control required (CIC); Two years of Infection Control experience in acute-care hospital environment; Experience with Joint Commission, DOH, federal and state infection control regulations; Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; Knowledge and experience in utilizing statistical tools for measurement; Experience with National Patient Safety Goals and IHI initiatives related to infection prevention and control.
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required!
