Requirements:
Degree in Medical Technology, ASCP Certification or equivalent required.
Five years of general clinical laboratory management experience in the areas of Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Coagulation, Serology and Urinalysis preferred.
Complies with OSHA/VOSHA Universal Precautions, practices personal and hospital safety.
Frequent contact with lab/hospital personnel, physicians, vendors and service representatives.
Must demonstrate a helpful, polite attitude and face customer oriented approach to problem solving.

Hospital: Founded over 100 years ago, this facility has grown from a 10-bed hospital with eight attending physicians into Vermont's second largest health care facility, with almost 200 beds and more than 120 physicians trained in 35 specialty areas. Providing preventive, diagnostic, acute and rehabilitative services, they serve portions of southern and central Vermont and communities in eastern New York State. The medical staff is supported by excellent nursing, high quality diagnostic and ancillary services and a broad array of sophisticated equipment, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging, a top-of-the-line linear accelerator, used in the treatment of cancer patients, and a diagnostic Cardiovascular and Angiographic Lab.
