Qualifications / Skills Required
1) Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent
2) 10 years of agriculture or equivalent experience
3) Knowledge of federal, state and regional labor law regulations
4) Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
5) Knowledge of management, marketing, finance and human resources functions
6) Knowledge of industry-specific technology and developing products
7) Knowledge of supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, motivation and training of personnel
8) Knowledge of principals and processes involved
9) Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial market banking, analysis and reporting of financial data
10) Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, costs and techniques for maximizing the manufacturing and distribution of goods
11) Skill in using mathematics to solve problems
12) Skill in negotiating, analytical-thinking and problem-solving
13) Skill in developing and utilizing financial data, written reports and other industry specific information
14) Skill in operating various office equipments like personal computer, facsimile machine, copy machines, voice mail system and pagers
15) Skill in researching and interpreting various industry regulations and specifications
16) Skill in developing written policies for company procedures
17) Skill in organizing and planning
18) Ability to delegate work and coordinate departmental activities
19) Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
20) Ability to develop and implement succession plans for departmental management and plant management personnel
21) Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional and effective manner both verbally and in writing which may include difficult negotiations
