Job Requirements
Qualifications Required:
BS in Chemical or Electrical Engineering. (Any Engineering Degree with the proper experience would be considered.)
3 + years in a chemical manufacturing plant
3- 7 years of experience configuring Foxboro systems.
Additional PLC and Triconex experience would be a plus.
Programming: Unix; Pascal or Fortran; Ladder Logic
Responsibilities include:
Specify and upgrade control equipment
Modify configurations as requested
Act as an advisor to project teams with regard to control systems capabilities
Complete control systems upgrade projects
Provide trouble shooting assistance
Conduct Operator Training sessions
Complete the Annual Interlock Checks
Provide Full control system documentation; DCS ISO 9002 Documents, Interlock Matrices and Instrument Index
Participation in HAZOPS reviews and meetings to design safer operating facilities.
Stay abreast of standards/ regulations concerning Process Control and Safety Systems.
Ensure that existing systems are not obsolete and can meet our future needs.
