Job Requirements
Minimum 10 years underwriting experience. (Property Casualty)
Minimum of 3 years management or supervisory experience.
Four year college degree in business or relevant major.
Demonstrated property and casualty underwriting skills to ensure profitable growth.
Interpretive skills and a high degree of analysis using logic, evaluative or professional thinking to
define problems, collect information, establish facts and form valid solutions.
Ability to communicate complex specialized information to a variety of audiences along with
objectives and priorities for a department.
Experienced to develop and manage an operating budget for a department or project.
Able to train, mentor and manage less experienced Underwriters.
Detailed familiarity with Hawaii, Hawaii business environment and underwriting risks in Hawaii highly desired.
