Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Examine product offering and liaise with global corporate welding experts to develop a strategy to expand the companys market share in the US welding industry.
* Research and analyze market data to set list prices and discount levels that deliver sales at acceptable margins.
* Develop overall business and marketing strategy for the companys dust/fume collection equipment designed for the welding industry.
* Train regional sales staff in commercial and technical aspects of fume extraction for welding applications.
* Assist regional sales staff in recruiting and training distribution network to specify, quote, sell and install the companys welding fume collection products.
* Assist regional sales staff and distribution network in closing large or strategic projects.
* Personally recruit, train and motivate OEM, catalog/internet distributors, and key accounts in the US basic design services for welding fume welding market.
* Work with and serve as the back-up for the US technical staff in providing collection applications.
Ultimate Goal: To position company among the top three US suppliers of dust/mist/fume collection products for the welding/metalworking industry.
Skills:
* A thorough understanding of and strong industry contacts for dust/mist fume collection, especially as it relates to welding or metalworking.
* AutoCAD skills are helpful.
* Strong Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Excellent, presentation, selling and closing skills.
* Ability to achieve short-term goals in line with longer term global vision.
* Valid drivers license
