Qualifications / Skills Required
1) BA/BS in Business Administration (Supply Chain as major preferred)
2) 5 or more years of progressive purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing experience preferred)
3) Experience in costing analysis in a manufacturing environment
4) Experience in purchase packaging for cheese/dairy industry (heat seal packaging ideal)
5) ERP knowledge and experience (ERP implementation experience a plus)
6) Ability to deal with people in a positive and productive manner
7) Ability to plan, set objectives and goals, prioritize, measure performance, provide direction and meet deadlines
8) Decision-making and problem-solving skills
9) Proficiency in English (reading, writing, comprehension)
10) Excellent MS Office skills with a particular emphasis on Excel
