Job Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Accounting and a CPA or CMA certification preferred
2. 7+ years in accounting with strong finance skills and at least 3 years of cost accounting within a manufacturing facility dealing with many different SKUs (10,000 SKUs at this company). Must have strong data mining software experience such as MS Access but others like Foxpro or SQL would work.
3. Prior supervision experience is preferred
4. Strong team player and work ethic
5. Use of and knowledge of sophisticated job cost software and process improvement.
6. High level of proficiency with sophisticated MRP systems, PC spreadsheets and database report writer tools. Knowledge of ERP system would be helpful. They plan to move to either JD Edwards or SAP.
7. Strong problem solving and analytical skills; able to gather and analyze data, identify goals, explore and select solutions, and evaluate results.
8. Strong ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. Ideally this person will be promotable to the controller position with a few years.
