Hospital employed position with full benefits; in-patient unit. Salary depends upon boards. Call is 8 times a month, but 6 of those are weekdays and two days are a weekend. Average census in the unit is 19 – 21. So far this year there have been 528 admissions; length of stay is between 5 – 7 days. Expected consultation when on call would include the floors and the ED.
