Our client, a giant in the Medical Device industry, is currently seeking to hire a Global Strategic Marketing Specialist. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE FULL LIFE CYCLE WITH HEALTHCARE IT PRODUCT EXPERIENCE. MUST COME FROM A HEALTHCARE COMPANY.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategy, tactics and implement Marketing plan elements to achieve near-term orders goals
- Lead Business Marketing and Messaging
- Design, create and implement demand generation programs to support business objectives
- Product awareness campaigns, Internal and External Tradeshows, thought Leadership campaigns
- Lead pricing analysis for existing and future products
- Manage customer engagement and Reference Sites Program
- Manage the work of marketing analysts/intern
- Formulate strategy, tactics and implement Marketing plan elements to achieve near-term orders goals
- Develop a strategic marketing plan for the Knowledge Business – Assess Company’s competitive advantage(s), strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
- Define tactical components of marketing plan, provide scope of work and budget projections
- Identify demand trends, create segmentation strategy
- Maintain surveillance on internal and external influences that may impact business performance, regulations, healthcare legislation, reimbursement, competitive strategy and tactics, clinical developments, user trends and feedback
- Lead Business Marketing and Messaging
- Package product messaging and product positioning into collateral to support the marketing program
- Provide training to the sales force for the proper utilization of the collateral and messaging
- Create and oversee the coordination of product user groups
- Provide feedback from market to the product management team
- Coordinate development sites for next generation products
- Define value propositions for assigned products and solutions
- Design, create and implement demand generation programs to support business objectives — product awareness campaigns, Internal and External Tradeshows, Thought Leadership campaigns
- Create and manage Calendar of Events– Internal External Tradeshows, meetings, etc.
- Define and manage trade shows to be attended, scope and budget – Planning and promotion of event attendance
- Own trade show messaging in support of the marketing plan
- Work with sales management to integrate messaging into demand generation programs
- Oversee the implementation of educational events to further sales efforts -Lead pricing analysis for existing and future products
- Primary owner of pricing strategy, country specific pricebooks, and order processing
- Manage customer engagement and Reference Sites Program
- Work with sales management to identify and cultivate reference sites
- Manage customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage the work of marketing analysts/intern
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge in the Healthcare Information Technology domain and ability to complete complex tasks.
- Successfully serves as a point of authority for the clinical and workflow domains.
Requirements:
2 – 3 years in a healthcare information technology 5 – 7 years working in the US commercial medical product marketing 2 – 3 years of downstream marketing
Experience that includes clinical healthcare IT deals that exceeds 5 million dollars in booking revenue.
Experience developing sales training programs
Experience training sales teams
Working knowledge of bookings, sales and revenue recognition
Experience in a matrix/influence management model
Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge.
