Event Services Company – Account Executive – Sunnyvale, CA

Are you a successful Tradeshow Services Sales Professional, looking for a challenging and rewarding sales opportunity with an industry leader?

Our client is a firm that has made the Inc. Magazine “500” list, has been named one of the “100 Fastest Growing Companies in Silicon Valley” and has garnered numerous industry awards for its outstanding exhibits. This company’s current and target clients consist of high-tech manufacturers, software developers, telecom and many others. The successful candidate will have a record of success selling into the target markets and more.

Responsibilities:

* Sell and service tradeshow services into the target industries
* Prospect, qualify, develop and close new accounts
* Leverage existing industry contacts and supplier references
* Convert qualified sales leads into highly valued long-term repeat customers
* Work independently with a minimum amount of supervision
* Achieve sales targets and maximize account growth
* Provide creative selling solutions to customer needs
* Work with C- level clientele
* Demonstrate effective sales planning & documentation practices

Qualifications:

* At least 5 years of tradeshow booth experience w/annual design sales in the $800k range
* MUST have a four year degree
* Strong “HUNTER” profile, with a passion for prospecting and closing new business
* Solid major account experience requiring long-term relationship building at the C-level
* A working knowledge of the event marketing, tradeshow exhibit design or production industry is a MUST
* Computer literacy including, MS Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Our client offers a 60K base salary plus commissions, (On Target Earnings (OTE) should equal over 200K), company health, dental, & vision insurance, 401(k). Twenty-five percent (25%) of the AE’s for this company earn in excess of $250k annually

This company is looking for a proven player in the Exhibit Industry, Event Management Business, and is not willing to consider relevant experience in other markets. You MUST be experienced in the event services/management business.
