Successful and Growing Medical Device and PHARMACEUTICAL Company with over 60 plants Worldwide is expanding the Professional Education department and has an opening for a Senior Business Analyst in CT to track and recommend action regarding budgets, forecasting and critical analyses for this department.
Location: CT
Salary up to $90k, average bonus $9k
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible to build, monitor and analyze global budgets. The Senior Business Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to the leadership team to support the execution of strategic educational plans. The Senior Business Analyst will function and support all quantitative analysis including but not limited to, budgets, LE forecasting, and head count deployment. The Senior Business Analyst position is responsible to coordinate, track, and analyzes all associated expenses and budgets within the Global group.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop, maintain and analyze global budgets and Expenses.
2. Manages and tracks expenses for Global budget, and provide assistance to the US Region.
3. Coordinates and complies regional budgets into one Global Budget.
4. Prepares monthly / Qtr. Global LE reports.
5. Provide financial and analytical support to the leadership team to support the execution of strategic plans.
6. Evaluates regional financial costs of training programs by analyzing actual results to original budget.
7. Financial analyses of operations, including all training events, fellowship programs, professional affairs investments, and capital investments to determine financial viability.
8. Performs ad-hoc analyses to present to management to assist business decisions.
9. Actively participates with Global Leadership team and provides financial and analytical support in developing and executing strategic plans.
10. Liaison with finance to address expense reconciliations and to resolve budget discrepancy.
11. Assist in the preparation of strategic level reports in all functions
12. Provides qualitative and quantitative analysis (monthly and quarterly) for Senior Management LE Review, QBR, etc.
13. Annual Budget, and Strategic Planning involvement each year
14. Coordinate monthly forecasting and accruals for specific business areas.
15. Building relationships with Global PACE team and all other functions inside Medical Affairs.

2. Gathers necessary project data from various functional groups to develop analyses.
3. Accesses financial data from SAP, GQL, and COGNOS.
4. Develops financial models for investment projects.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required/ preferred: Undergraduate degree in Finance or related discipline./ MBA in Finance or related discipline.
Experience: 4-5 years in a financial discipline.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Specific training in financial analyses and accounting.
Skills/Competencies: Analytical, Interpersonal, Organizational, Adapting to Change
Other Skills: Familiarity with SAP, Hyperion, GQL Queries, COGNOS
