A Stable and Fast-Growing Medical Device Company is expanding the Sales and Marketing Business Intelligence. This company has invested heavily in new R&D projects, marketing transformation, business development, acquisitions and more over the past two years and is now ready to expand Business Intelligence with a new Senior Business Analyst to support Sales and Marketing business decisions! This is an exciting opportunity to lead a variety of complex analytical exercises that provide senior sales and marketing leadership with high quality quantitative deliverables that will drive/aid business decision making and enable interpretation of current, past and future performance.
The Senior Business Analyst will own and be responsible for the development and delivery of complex business analytics and modeling supporting over $1B in product revenue. This Business Analyst will support all quantitative analysis including but not limited to quota setting, budgets, forecasting, head count deployment, ROI, break even, product launches, promotion impact and market share analysis. This Senior Analyst will be expected to create dynamic and highly impactful methods of data delivery and provide critical and insightful data interpretation.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for creating, managing and continuously improving the delivery of this information to all business partners. The delivery of this information will directly assist senior management and leadership in gaining complete perspective and understanding of business performance as well as industry, market, competitor, channel and customer behaviors. This analysis will directly impact decision making and overall business planning.
Main Goals include:
To effectively and efficiently develop analytical models that support the business strategic planning process, business forecasting, initiative outcome management, market analysis / trends, financial performance and budgeting
To deploy tools to improve business management, decision making and visibility to trends and underlying drivers
To provide counsel and insight on the use of all available data for business planning, forecasting, market analysis, trends and product launches.
To provide new and innovative approaches to business data analysis and interpretation
To establish the necessary quality and business process standards to ensure high quality data sources and accurate analytical outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Education required/ preferred:
Required: Bachelor Science Business Administration, Operations, Math and/or Decision Science or similar
Preferred: MBA / MS
Experience:
Prefer: 5+ years experience in medical devices, medical products, PHARMACEUTICAL or biotechnology business intelligence, business analytics, marketing analytics, market research or similar discipline.
MUST HAVE some prior direct experience in a business analytics, category management or marketing analytics role
Prior financial analysis experience within a finance and accounting department may be considered.

Strong project management skills, organizational skills, advanced analytical capabilities used in conjunction with forecasting, uncompromising focus on high quality, creative, dynamic and innovative analytics, strong understanding of business forecasting, forecasting tools, business financial statements including P&L, balance sheet etc.
